Solukhumbu Trail Marathon

Solukhumbu is located in the north of Nepal. Solukhumbu District is a part of the Sagarmatha Zone,It is one among the seventy-five districts of Nepal, a landlocked country of South Asia. As the name suggests, it consists of the subregions Solu and Khumbu.The district with Salleri as its district headquarter covers an area of 3,312 km² and had a population 107,686 in 2001 and 105,886 in 2011. Mount Everest is located in the northern part of this district, within Sagarmatha National Park.Indigenous ethnic Rai and hill Caste Chhetri are the main groups living in the mid-hills, while Sherpas occupy high mountains. There is a noteable hiking trail in this district known as the Solukhumbu Trail.

Generally marathon is race between the different participants but sportadventure has brought you a different way of marathon.We show the different land topography, Neplease culture,sherpa culture and their tradition along with the race.We lead those participants from low to highest level of altitude around Everest .This marathon starts from beautiful village jiri and ends at lukla.We also take this marathon to visit different holy stupas, places, and mountains,therefore its not only a marathon but it is also a religious and adventural trail.                                                                                        

Day 01 :Arrive in kathmandu and transfered to hotel
Day 02: Kathmandu (1300m) to phaplu (2413m) by bus.
Day 03: Phaplu (2413m) to lamjura (3530m)  
Day 04: Lamjura (3530m)  to junbesi (2700m)
Day 05: Junbesi(2700m) to Beni(3835m) (camping)
Day 06: Beni(3835m) to Dudhkunda lake(4561m)
              to Taksindu(2960m)(camping)
Day 07: Taksindu(2960m) to Bupsa
DAY 08: Bupsa to Phakding(2610m)
Day 09: Phakding (2610m) to Thame(3800m)
Day 10: Thame(3800m) to Lungden(4380m)
Day 11: Lungden (4380m) to Renjo pass(5549m) to Gokyo(4790m)
Day 12: Gokyo village(4790m) to Lake Gyazumba(5500m) to Lobuche(4910m)
Day 13: Lobuche(4910m) to Kalapatthar(5550m)to Dingboche (3440m)
Day 14: Dingboche (3440m) to Namche( 3440m)
Day 15: Namche(3440m) to Paiyan
Day 16: Paiyan to chhulemo
Day 17: Chhulemo visit village and trek to taksindu(visit monastery)
Day 18: Taksindu to phaplu(ending point)                                                                                                                                             Day 19: Phaplu to Kathmandu  (by bus)                                                                                                                                        

Day 20: Free day in kathmandu in evening prize distribution program and farewell dinner
