Climbing in Himalaya - Short Description
Himalaya has been the focus of outstanding achievements in the world of mountain climbing with its identified 1310 peaks above 6000 meter. One quarter of them are officially opened for mountaineering activities, which offer the great opportunity of adventure peak climbing in Nepal. By Himalayan standard there are smaller mountains known as "trekking peaks" (ranging from 5587 to 6654 meters), which any fit & keen trekkers can climb. Climbing these trekking peaks in Nepal is the next step beyond simply trekking, however, it includes basic mountaineering above the snow line using ice axe, climbing boot with crampons, ropes etc. under the supervision and instruction from the climbing guide, who have considerable mountaineering expertise and experience including multiple ascent of Mt. Everest.

There is no doubt peak climbing in Nepal offer the best adventure trekking and expedition experience to both experienced trekkers and novice climbers.

There are two group of peak in Nepal according to their height. Which is categorized by Nepal Mountaineering Association(NMA).Fee for those peak also different according to the category.

Garbage deposit for all 33 NMA Peaks
An amount of US$250.00 should be deposited to NMA as garbage deposite to get permit to all 33 NMA peaks.
The refund shall be made as per the provisions made by NMA.
